Parish Plan 2025
A group of volunteers formed the Grade Ruan Parish Plan Group and carried out consultations and surveys, supported by the Parish Council, to gather views from local residents and feedback from local businesses and organisations. The aim - to inform plans and actions to help improve services and facilities in the parish in the coming years.
In April 2025 the Parish Plan Group wrote and presented its report and recommendations to the Parish Council:

At the July 2025 meeting of the Parish Council, the Parish Plan Group's report was received. The Parish Council had appointed a working group of Parish Councillors with the purpose of reviewing the report and recommendations. The working group presented its findings to the Parish Council, noting that a number of the recommendations from the Parish Plan Group's report were already being implemented by the Parish Council or other organisations. Some of the recommendations may be actioned in the near future and others would not be practical to action in the short to medium-term, but could be reviewed again in the future.
It was noted that the Recreation Ground Committee would be interested in pursuing an improvement to the multi use games area. There is currently no budget for this, but there is the potential for a joint project with the Parish Council, subject to funding in the first instance.
The Parish Council agreed to work through the recommended actions in the Working Group response report, in the short, medium and long term.

Grade Ruan Parish Housing Needs Survey 2025
